I love working with great organizations that serve public purposes – developing and teaming with people who do groundbreaking work. Our public education system is in urgent need of reinvention through new school models that inspire young people to envision and prepare for a future of possibilities. This has been the focus of my career, and remains a top priority for our adaptive leadership practice.
Founder and President of Gelber Leadership Associates, a national consulting firm working with clients to deepen talent bench and organizational leadership capacity. Jenny focuses on school leadership as a vector for influencing the next generation of thinkers, leaders and voters. Also a long-term adviser to corporate, government, and education executives, Jenny’s combination of expertise, pragmatism and humanity make her a valuable partner to organizations.
Jenny contributed to the opening of 12 new and innovative schools serving students in Cleveland, Ohio. There she also co-designed and delivered the first district-wide recruitment program to hire top talent for K-12 schools. Jenny was a founding member of the Adaptive Leadership Program at Harvard’s Kennedy School. She is a certified Leadership Circle™ 360 Profile Coach. Her Doctorate in Education is from the University of Massachusetts and her Masters in Public Administration is from the Harvard Kennedy School.
