Professional experience:
I'm currently an Assistant Professor of Health Systems and Policy in the Department of Public Health at Brigham Young University. I worked previously as a Presidential Management Fellow and Public Health Advisor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA where I helped establish the agency’s global cancer program. I completed my Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) at Harvard where I studied leadership and health policy and systems change. I also hold a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Southern California and a BA in International Relations from Brigham Young University.
