Professional experience:
I have garnered extensive professional experience in public, higher education, and museum administration, as well as community service and outreach. I serve as faculty and coach for the Federal Executive Institute's signature program, 'Leadership for a Democratic Society.' I also serve as a project consultant for 'Teachers in the Movement,' a civil rights history project headquartered at the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. As an educational historian, I use my professional expertise in organizational capacity, leadership development, social capital, and team building to chart pathways for leaders to investigate the past, inspire the present, and envision the future.
